OIL FOR SAW

How to care for a chainsaw - this is a question many users ask for. Especially those who use it often have to take a few moments every now and then to check its technical condition. Caring for a saw is not only a necessity resulting from concern for its technical condition and wear, but also for work safety.

Drive system

Remember that the engine is the "heart" of our saw. If it is in bad condition - we will not be satisfied with the entire saw. Let's get to the gasoline exactly measured amount of good oil in the proportions recommended by the manufacturer. We buy oil bottles with graduations, we can also measure the oil with a large syringe.

Air filter

We have to clean it from wood dust. The more dull the chain, the finer sawdust and wood dust, which very effectively clog the filter. This suppresses the inflow of air, decreases engine performance, increases fuel consumption, the spark plug is contaminated, there are problems with firing the saw.

Control

The adjustment should be carried out several times a year. Start by checking the condition of the spark plug and the air filter. Then we carry out the adjustment in accordance with the instructions for use. Our observations suggest that the regulation should be well carried out when changing the seasons - other settings will be "summer", others will be "winter". The temperature of the air sucked in by the engine is quite an important parameter, and on a yearly scale fluctuations can be as much as 500C. Cutting system Before each longer cut, check the chain tension. It can not be too stretched or too loose. Every now and then, turn the guide - so that it will wear out in a uniform manner on both sides.

Before each cut, check the amount of chain lubricating oil and whether the chain is actually lubricated. Sometimes sawdust can clog the flow of lubricating oil. Whether the lubrication actually works can be easily checked. We start the saw, put it on high speed, approach the end of the guide for a few centimeters, for example to a block of wood, which we intend to cut. With proper lubrication, we should notice that oil splashes from the chain "spray". If after a dozen or so seconds of operation, straight ahead from the guide, it is dry - a bad sign. You need to check whether the sawdust has not clogged the oil inlet, whether the oil is in the tank and the correctness of the oil supply adjustment (this must be checked in accordance with the instructions for use). Proper lubrication of the chain is one of the most important elements, without which our saw will not work well (the non-lubricated chain overheats, pulls out and blunts at an alarmingly fast rate)!

Due to the fact that when cutting wood, there are a lot of oil to think about ecological solutions. One of them is the interesting product BIO FOREST OIL, which meets the stringent OECD 301 biodegradability standards. It has very good - confirmed by tests, useful properties and does not cause environmental degradation!

The advantages of using oil:

- ensures long tool life

- provides comfortable working conditions

- reduces operating costs - ideal for use in forest management

- it is characterized by low drying, lack of sealing

- suppresses vibrations and noise

- has very good lubricating and preservative properties
